Time to grab tea instead of your usual coffee when in need of some energy. Green tea provides many health benefits for example increasing metabolism to aid in weight loss and should be a part of your daily routine. Combine your favorite green tea with a few other ingredients and make yourself a delicious iced tea that is sure to put a spring back in your step.
Here is what you will need:
One cup boiling water
Two green tea bags
One yerba maté tea bag
One tablespoon agave, honey or sugar
Two Tablespoons lemon juice
Optional - Chopped fresh mint
And here is what you'll need to do:
Add the three tea bags to a cup of boiling water (use a heat proof measuring cup to make your life a bit easier) steep the tea for 5 minutes, add your sweetener of choice as well as the lemon juice (and mint if you have some) and finally add some ice and sir until chilled!
